Cymraeg

The choir was formed in 1953. Members are drawn from a radius of about ten miles from Harlech, an area where the Welsh language is still widely spoken by the majority. The choir often holds concerts in the locaility and has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities during its long history.

In recent years the choir has travelled to Scotland, Brittany, Denmark, and Austria; also to England, Ireland and Germany many times.

The choir are looking forward to recording a new cd in the near future and there are tentative plans for the choir to visit Poland in 2019.
